I guess the latest voting is out. It looks like 7 guys from KC would be starters if voting ended today. Heck, I say just get all starting 9 from the Royals in the game to show how ridiculous it is. Both the other two guys (Infante and Rios) are just barely on the outside looking in.

It's criminal that Cain is ahead of Trout. And that Cain and Rios are ahead of Jones. Absolutely ridiculous.

popularity contest and not a contest of the best players at that position.

It's not even a popularity contest anymore. Now with it being only computer balloting, you just need time and a whole mess of email accounts. Taking this and the surge in attendance thread, maybe there IS something to the idea that there isn't much to do in KC????

Before we get too worked up, Jones is the only Oriole who should even be in consideration this season. Manny has been solid but not performing anywhere near what Donaldson is in Toronto.

Jones had a pretty dismal May, after such a great and hot start in April.

he seams to be catching fire again.

Well, in any event, my Orioles All Star predictions are Jones and Britton. Although Zach seems to get overlooked for some reason. He definitely flies under the radar of the National Media it seems.

Then again, if 7-9 Royals get in, that leaves not many spots when including 1 player from the other 14 teams. Might be only Jones for us.
